    2. The Quality of LightI chose this book for no particular reason. I just walked into the library grabbed a random and started to read it. I regret that and i won't do it again. Next time i walk into a library I'll pick a renowned book. As I finished this book i didn't have a clue what I actually read. In my opinion it's vague story that totally misses a climax.The storylines of the persons in the story indistinctly mix in with each other.     3. I really enjoyed the almost ethereal (is that the right word?) quality of this book. The author manages to handle 3 voices well, and their past and their present times in the nameless city. I found the characters had depth and the slow revealing of what happened some years ago kept me wanting to read more each time. There's probably loads of deeper stuff to do with memories, landscape etc but I enjoyed it as a 'good read'. The second book of his I have read, and I must check out his first novel. [...]
