    10. A good read and leaves the reader wanting to know what happens to Thomas.Ellis draws lifelike and sympathetic characters.Readers who like the plain folk will enjoy this book.Would like to know what happens to Thomas.

    11. EXCELLENT~!~!FANTASTIC!!!Mary Ellis had me on the edge of my seat while reading the book for more than one reasons. And the ending was what I thought for Meghan would happen but I still wanted to finish the book.Hope there is a third book in the series.

    12. I like this series. I like the characters and the story. I feel like I can relate to them, even though I'm not Amish. It shows we really aren't that different. :-)

    13. I had a hard time getting started with this book, but I am glad I stuck with it. It was an interesting story, and good suspense. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

    14. Interesting twists when the troubles in an Old Order district are solved in this Wayne County series#2 by Mary Ellisoublesome teens, troublesome male suitor, troublesome new people in the mix.

    15. I have met Mary Ellis and she is as sweet in person as her books give us a taste of her wonderful insight into writing.

    16. This book would be excellent for a non-native speaker of English to read so they could see cliches in context. This book is full of them!
