    1. DNF I made it to 40% by skimming.I liked both the cover and the blurb and so I requested this book from NetGalley but I struggled from the beginning. In order for a book to work for me I need to like at least one of the characters preferably more but one will do and this was my problem I just didn't like any of the characters.I stuck with this book far longer than I normally would simply because I'd requested it and it just didn't feel right to quit but honestly I was getting nowhere and skimmin [...]

    2. Echoes Of Angels (Eternity #1) by Devyn Quinn Julienne Blackthorne grew up in the school of hard knocks.Dragged around the country by an unstable mother, she grew up on the fringes of poverty, unloved and unwanted. With the face of an angel and a body made for sin, her dream to reinvent herself in Hollywood goes crushingly awry. Though marriage to her manager leads to minor success as a model and D-list celebrity, her husband’s violent temper and her own crack-cocaine habit can only lead to on [...]

    3. 4*sreview posted hereokpassionforlifeEchoes of Angels is a great introduction to the Eternity series by Devyn Quinn. The synopsis says it all as we are introduced to Julienne Blackthorne, as she makes her way back to her ancestral home that her mother had fled 21 years earlier and back into the arms of her grandmother, the only family she has left. Julienne is a recovering drug addict and recovering from her husband’s attempt on her life that has left her with both mental & physical scars, [...]

    4. I was in the middle of reading something else when I picked this novel up and started it. I must say it grabbed me right away and was sorta like a jealous lover and could not return to the other one until I finished this one. Having read the storyline is what drove me to try it and also have read a couple before from this author. I also devour dark fantasy romance because they have alot of substance to them then just fluff. The characters in this novel are vibrant and intense-especially Morgan a [...]

    5. Ok story with an interesting (if a bit slow to reveal back story) plot although Julienne finds her way to Morgan's bed rather quickly when she can't stand him in the beginning and he is rather an ass of a character.

    6. Eternity Trilogy by Devyn Quinn Genre- Science fiction, urban fantasy, fantasy, paranormal Title- Echoes of Angels Book One of trilogy “Julienne Blackthorne grew up in the school of hard knocks. A near brush with death leaves her broke, alone and scarred for life. 7. Echoes of Angels, Keepers of Eternity Book 1,  Devyn QuinnReview from Jeannie Zelos book reviewsGenre:  Romance, sci-fi and fantasy.  I thought this sounded intriguing, something a bit different and having read the sample on amazon I was keen to read the book. Sadly though for me it just didn’t really make it. I wouldn’t class it as a romance, there’s some sex but that's it, no real connection between Morgan and Julienne it. Julienne seemed to gain her confidence very quickly for someon [...]

    8. I received this book from net gallery for an honest review. Julienne returns to the very home her mum ran away from. She's a recovering drug addict and the scars on her cheeks reminds her of the life that she nearly lost due to her ex husband. She has no choice but to return home where she seeks answers from the man who drove her mum away: Morgan. I thoroughly enjoyed the book: I was intrigued from the moment I started reading about the mystery and secrets behind the hidden walls. Julienne is a [...]

    9. I was given this e arc by the Publisher and NetGalley to read and give an honest review .Well - The precis of this book sounded really interesting , just the type of story that I usually enjoy .BUT the main female character - Julienne came across as on one hand 'whiny - poor me nothing is my fault' , antagonistic to others around , her whilst at the same time seeking reassurance that people might love and like her . The book starts with Julienne arriving at her estranged Grandmother's as a condi [...]

    10. I normally like the books this author writes but to save my life I just could not get into this book. I just could not feel anything for Morgan. I don't know if this is because you didn't get as much perspective from his side to say why he was such an asshat or if the heroine's perspective just didn't get you enough insight. There was no real heat between the two and I'm not a big fan of endings that don't end. It's a cliffhanger with another continuing book to come. It needed something more to [...]

    11. I have been challenged to read some books that I downloaded at least six months ago. Well I downloaded this book back in March 2009 so it has been on my Kindle for six years. Since I downloaded this the book has been renamed and has a new cover. The story is basic - girl is sick and broke, family she doesn't really remember comes to her rescue for a price, there are things she doesn't know about her family or herself, and of course a good looking male. It's ultimately a struggle between good and [...]

    12. I received a copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.Echoes of Angels, to me, read like two completely different books. A majority of it is this really slow moving dark paranormal romance. The remainder was still dark, but more focused on the battle between good versus evil. I kept waiting for an explanation for the title, but didn't feel like I got one. The main male character was really hard for me to like, even after coming out in a better light [...]

    13. Broke, alone, and just released from drug rehab, Julienne Hunter has nowhere to go, and thanks to her blade-wielding ex-husband, she has no modeling career to return to either. With her health destroyed by years of drug use and dieting, Julienne returns to Belmonde, her grandmother’s home, the same mansion her mother Cassandra had fled years agoFor the entire review please go to the Best Paranormal & Urban Fantasy Review site on the web, Bitten By Books for the review of The Keeper of Eter [...]

    14. What an incredibly strange book. I've read Devyn Quinn before and liked her so I figured I would like this one too but I just not sure I did. The world building was interesting and I wish that she would have gone more into the spells and magic part aspect where Julienne actually learns how to do something. All she's good for is flinging her body in front of bad things which she does a lot much to her detriment. I can't say I liked the characters of Julienne and Morgan very much. Especially Morga [...]

    15. Echoes of Angels was a decently written book.It did take awhile to get to the action I thought but it made me read on anyways.I hated Morgan but then again I was making my own version of him in my head while reading.Once the characters succumb to the sexual tension(maybe a little magic as well) the book moves a little faster.I am just going to put out there that I was disappointed that Julie didn't learn magic like she was probably destined to do as a child. And the ending got me as well.

    16. Intense and broodingYikes! That was intense. It started slowly, but when it reached its apex, it sizzled. This a modern gothic tale that seduces you with a brooding otherworldly man and a fragile woman denied her legacy. Both characters are pretty much unlikable. They compliment each other perfectly. Throughout the book they grow on you and you find yourself cheering them on. I loved every second of it. On to book two.

    17. This book had a lot going on. Morgan, if he were a human is more jerk than nice guy. Julienne, I thought was a fighter. I enjoyed this story. I’m a sucker for the Fantasy/Scifi- Romance genre. There a cliffhanger ending, but I really am hoping it all works out in the next one. #MorganandJulienne.*** I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book****

    18. I read this because it was free and I was bored. It's a witchcraft/druid/immortal story, involving some kind of a parallel world where immortals fight to the death, but of course regular people don't know anything about it. There's also a fair bit of "romance," which of course is code for hot sex action. Not my typical genre, but not bad for the price :)

    19. Another terrific tale from Devyn Quinn introduces you to Julienne, a natural born witch, and Morgan, an immortal occult member and is filled with surprising twists and turns. This is the first in a series with these gripping characters filled with torment and an unsure romance.

    20. This is the first book from this author that I have read and I can say I hope there will be more to this story. I found the story to be intense and dramatic. The characters were dark and well written. I liked it.*** Received a copy of book from NetGally and Thorskona Books****L

    21. This is not a romance book. if you like Sci Fi, mythical dark gritty, horrific stories and cliffhangers, you might enjoy this one. For me, not so much. Thanks to Netgalley and Beyond the Page Publishing for the ARC in exchange for a honest review.

    22. a good first book to a series a enjoyed this and cant wait to see where the rest of the series goes recommended
