    2. While the kaiju eiga genre of media may not be for everyone, this is a lovingly crafted book of notes and perspectives on the Big G. It is at once thorough and accessible for people of all ages and is an essential text for both beginners and experts interested in knowing more about Godzilla and his enduring popularity.

    5. 5 Roars! This book has brief movie synopses, monster profiles, a couple fun essays, and plenty of photos and illustrations. A totally fun time!
