    1. I read this because I couldn't find a decent history book on Luxembourg very easily. This had all the pictorial charm of the Eyewitness books for kids, with handy-dandy travel info. Since most of Luxembourg is really old buildings or EU headquarters, I did get a sense of the country's history. It also looks really pretty and has great hiking trails. Two questions: How do I get my hands on "Beaufort's noted black currant liqueur, Cassero" and why are most of Luxembourg's "dry, fresh" white wines [...]

    2. DK Eyewitness Travel Guide : Belgium and Luxembourg proved indespensible on a recent trip to the Benelux region; Boasting gorgeous illustrations, absorbing commentary and comprehensive information on every region, the hard part was actually picking out from the the many listed bars, shops, events, lodging places, sights and scenic routes. What's more the guide frequently delves into fascinating historic and cultural curiosities that really do come a long way in making you feel much more in-tune a [...]

    3. This is a great, good looking, easy to use and interesting guide. As a Belgian it was interesting to read and taught me a lot about history and interesting places to visit which I didn't know about or forgot about.Last week I went to Belgium for half a week and we rented a car to visit the Ardennes and Luxembourg. This guide was the basic for me to plan when and which places to visit. While driving towards the next planned place I read to my partner the info on the place so he would have an idea [...]

    4. This is a great book if you will be traveling throughout Belgium and Luxembourg since it has great pictures and divides the counties by regions. DK guides are always my favorite because they're full of wonderful photographs and provide quite a bit of information about little towns that we like to visit via car.

    5. My immediate interest was concerned with just Western Flanders and this book covers my travel plans quite well. Area maps and city street plans are bright and informative. As to be expected from DK travel guides, there is a wealth of information of interest to the tourist and much more.
