    1. This book contains information for choosing annuals, bulbs, conifers, ground covers, herbs, ornamental grasses, perennials, roses, shrubs, trees, vines, and water plants that will grow well in the midatlantic region.

    2. So I own and love my "Indiana Gardener's Guide" and wished I had something like that for Maryland it turns out, there is something EXACTLY like it for Maryland! Yea! I am so glad to get some good plant recommendations for the area. My only thing I was a bit disappointed with is that the author isn't as big on native plants as I am. But it was great to get to know some of the workhorses for this warmer area than I'm used to.

    3. Learn about the plants that grow easily in the Mid-Atlantic. Grow these and life will be much easier then trying to nurse unhappy plants along.
